There is No Feeling Quite Like it (For a Geoscientist) – Loading a Brand-NEW Seismic Dataset!

Every geoscientist out there will get us here! Nothing quite excites an explorationists mind like opening a new seismic survey, especially in an unexplored basin. We believe it reignites the insatiable human desire to explore, learn, and discover. A new dataset, with better imagery using modern technology, can completely change our view on the geological history of a basin. That promise of beginnings new drives this desire.

The seismic image below is from the Mid North Sea High, UK, a far cry from an unexplored basin, however, for us here at Define Geo it’s an area that we have seldom studied. Tune in next week to see our interpretation of this data – let us know if you have any initial thoughts!
